West Ravenswood (EPM27752) covers 117km2 southeast of Charters Towers in northern Queensland. It is ~20km southwest of the Ravenswood gold mine. The licence area covers the same geological units of the Ravenswood Granodiorite complex that are contiguous with and hosts the Ravenswood gold deposits. It is xxkm northwest of Trigg’s Drummond Basin projects.

Surface geochemistry and prospecting conducted by BHP in 1994 and 1995 defined a single anomaly over a previously untested target, which was identified from stream samples and BLEG (bulk leach extractable gold) analysis. It has an anomalous strike length of more than 4km.
